This job involved the sympathetic refurbishment of the vestry at St.Julians Church in Wellow.
The objective was to create a warm inviting environment to provide a meeting place for various groups and activities within the parish.
The ceiling was insulated and a lobby created using a bespoke gun stock style door. The intricate timber cornice existing on the east side of the room was replicated and run across the ceiling of new cupboards along the west side. Electric underfloor heating was fitted as the primary heat source to the room and Karndean vinyl flooring laid. Various stonework was cleaned, walls were plastered and complete decoration carried out.
The Vestry was also re-wired and lighting improved. Whilst re-wiring it was discovered that a new electrical supply to the bell tower was necessary for health and safety reasons.
